PLP Digital Systems, Inc. Rebrands to OpCenter, Inc.

We are pleased to announce effective today, February 3, 2014, PLP Digital Systems, Inc. officially changed its company name to OpCenter, Inc. After more than 20 years in business, we believe this new brand more clearly conveys the company direction to our current and future customers around the globe.

As you well know, the last few years have brought significant changes in how project critical content is shared, managed, and distributed. Physical document distribution is an option, but not the standard. Together with you, our partners, we are adapting to provide innovative solutions to lead change in the AEC industry.

While the “PLP Digital Systems” name will go away, the traditional products you have grown to know and count on will continue to improved, maintained and integrated with new digital content solutions.  With this strategic focus and our new cloud-based solutions, we are able to better assimilate our partners into project critical processes in the AEC ecosystem. Our team will continue to provide you with market intelligence, world-class customer service, marketing collateral and solutions to help you manage the construction information that is pivotal to your long term success.

As part of the OpCenter brand update we have introduced a new logo, a new website (www.opcenter.com) for the AEC industry, and new social media opportunities to increase engagement with the AEC community. We encourage you to follow us on Twitter @myOpCenter and to “Like” us on Facebook to keep up to date on our news, initiatives, and valuable insights into the AEC industry. Additional information on updates to the brand can be found at plotworks.opcenter.com, formerly www.plp.com.

The company is also introducing name changes to its first cloud-based collaborative construction product eShare and it’s tiers of Basic, Plus, and Premium. eShare will now be known as OpCenterTM; eShare Basic becomes OpCenterTM Share; eShare Plus and Premium are combining to become OpCenterTM Build; and the company’s beta product “Tabasco” for simple file sharing is becoming OpCenterTM Send. These solutions help AEC project owners uncover a solution to a clear problem: orchestrating the flow of precise, time sensitive project critical information. Our plan is not to sell these products directly to the AEC industry but through you our loyal customers. More information can be found at www.opcenter.com.

Please be assured this rebranding is not a departure from the reprographics market.  We have always tried to lead change through example in this industry. Our success is tied to your success as we navigate the AEC industry changes.  Together we can bring new solutions to the market and mature and evolve our businesses to provide relevant construction content solutions.
